Relevant Assignments:

• Paul represented a specialist contractor in 4 successful adjudications totaling £5 Million against a London Hotel Developer. Enforcement of the decision in the final adjudication was achieved in the High Court in a landmark ruling.
• Paul acted as quantum expert on claims for £4 Million against a Borough Council on a town centre redevelopment.
• Paul prepared claims on behalf of national Design and Build Main Contractor against a novated Architect and Housing Developer and claims for extension of time on Academy projects for a major national Main Contractor which resulted in successful negotiations.
• Paul assisted a national Main Contractor with claims for extension of time on luxury Ascot hotel and leisure complex and facilitated early settlement during the progress of the works.Paul prepared claims for national house builder under an agreement for lease on a mixed shopping, leisure and housing development and achieved a negotiated settlement.
• Paul acted as expert on defects claims in the new construction of a stonework mosque.  Paul worked with Client’s Solicitors and Loss Adjusters on three defects actions with the objective of avoiding litigation and achieving settlements for a national Main Contractor on multi-party issues.
•  Paul has managed the preparation of £5million time and money claims with a Contractor’s site team on a high quality commercial development in London, including delay notices, the implementation of commercial and operating procedures, advice on program monitoring record keeping and the valuation of changes.

Recent Quantum Expert Assignments:

• Acted as Quantum Expert on design defects, under residential £6m listed building refurbishment contract
• $1.2 Million Termination for Convenience claim; $3.4 million time and money claim and $10.3 million Piling claim on 84 Km 132Kv Overhead Transmission Line. Appointed by USA Contractor.
• $7 million delay and disruption claim on 400Kv Overhead Transmission Line. Appointed by USA Contractor.
• Security claims totaling over $30 Million on seven various sized substation projects. Appointed by Swedish Engineering conglomerate and USA Contractor.
• £4 Million town centre redevelopment: Highways measurement claims, time and money claims and disruption claims. Appointed by Borough Council.
• The valuation of alleged defects rectification on a major Shopping Centre. Appointed by Main Contractor.
• The valuation of £10 Million defects rectification of cladding and M&E works and prolongation claims on a high end residential scheme.
